§ 1 Formation of the contract

The contract of carriage comes about through proper booking and confirmation of the information by AIRPORT SHUTTLE. In particular, a contract of carriage does not come about if the customer provides incomplete or incorrect information on the purpose of the contract. AIRPORT SHUTTLE is entitled to have journeys carried out by service providers.

§ 2 Content of the contract

The travel service results from the description of the booking. However, AIRPORT SHUTTLE must reserve the right to make changes to the service, provided they do not affect the core of the service. The content of the services is described in the current implementation guidelines. Prices are for one pick-up address and one way. The price includes one suitcase and one piece of hand luggage per person.

Due to the collective traffic, waiting times within reason (up to 30 minutes) cannot be ruled out when picking up at the airport in the case of a scheduled landing. The airport transfer operates 24/7 in the collection service Individual transfer ViP service. Passengers are obliged to notify us in writing of any rebookings that take place after the order has been placed. Changes to the flight number at short notice must be reported by telephone or e-mail. In the event of non-reporting, our obligation to transport expires.

2:1 In the event of delays that are already known to the passenger upon departure at the departure airport, the passenger is obliged to cooperate. Our office is to be informed of the probable new arrival time in Düsseldorf so that appropriate transport capacities can be made available for the new landing time.

2.2 Exceptional situations such as strikes, war, civil unrest, natural and other catastrophes, decrees by the authorities or extremely bad weather conditions cannot be compensated for by AIRPORT SHUTTLE at all or only to a limited extent, so that longer waiting times are acceptable to the customer.

2.3 AIRPORT SHUTTLE is solely responsible for determining the pick-up times for passengers in the shared transfer. They result from the travel time, traffic buffers and the regulations of the charter and scheduled airlines.

2.4 Animals can only be transported if they are in statutory boxes. Special luggage (bulky items such as bicycles or similar) can only be transported by arrangement. Promotion can also be refused.

2.5 Contamination and damage to the vehicle A cleaning fee of €350 will be charged for any contamination of the vehicle by passengers that goes beyond the usual extent or willfully. The airport shuttle service reserves the right to make further claims. In the event of damage to the vehicle, the person responsible bears the actual costs, which are determined by our authorized workshop.

2.6 Intoxicated guests will not be transported, despite confirmation from us.

§ 3 Price

The price specified in the most recently published price list must be paid in cash when you start the booked journey. We also offer corporate customers and agencies the option of paying on an invoice basis.

§ 4 Withdrawal and meeting points at the airport

A cancellation or rebooking must be made in writing. A rebooking is only effective if Airport Shuttle has confirmed the new date in writing. The customer can cancel his pre-order free of charge up to 24 hours before pick-up. Airport Shuttle charges the customer with a transfer cancellation fee of 100% for cancellations at short notice. The general meeting point at Düsseldorf Airport is DEPARTURE LEVEL B, exit no. 10. After baggage acceptance, the customer is obliged to go to the meeting point and call the following number (0211 – 544 74 309). The airport shuttle driver will meet you at the meeting point.

§ 5 Warranty

AIRPORTSHUTTLE is liable within the scope of the duty of care of a prudent businessman for the conscientious preparation and proper provision of the transport service. Insofar as insurance cover exists within the framework of statutory liability insurance, AIRPORTSHUTTLE is liable to the customer in the event of damage within the framework of the statutory provisions. Insofar as the liability insurance is not subject to liability, the liability of AIRPORTSHUTTLE is limited to three times the agreed total fare. AIRPORTSHUTTLE is only liable for gross negligence, but also for negligence if an essential contractual obligation is violated, which is of particular importance for the customer. If the customer selects a desired arrival at the airport that is just before the departure time (less than 60 minutes for scheduled flights in Schengen countries, less than 120 minutes for all others or less than the specifications of the airline), the customer alone bears the risk of the reaching the flight. The customer is obliged to assist in the elimination of any disruptions to performance, to avoid any damage or to keep it to a minimum. In particular, the customer is obliged to notify AIRPORTSHUTTLE of any complaints about the service immediately in writing, no later than 14 days after the end of the trip made in connection with the service.

§ 6 Severability Clause

Should one of the above clauses be ineffective, this does not change the effectiveness of the contract. The statutory provisions shall take the place of ineffective clauses. As of January 2012

We protect personal data and travel data by applying high security standards and through work processes that were specially created to prevent misuse of this data.

Purpose of the collected personal data

We collect, process and use personal data on this website for the purpose of being able to offer you our services at all, since our business processes are strongly geared towards our customers. We limit the collection, processing and use of data to a minimum in order to be able to offer our customers personal services and to be able to provide our website visitors with product information. We will neither sell your personal data to third parties nor market it in any other way.
